KTD 2026 (Kinship Talent Discovery) is a major talent programme created to discover, develop, and celebrate artists and dancers across Kakuma and Kalobeyei. It is built to unite the refugee community and the host community on one platform—through music, dance, performance, and opportunity.

KTD is hosted by Kinship Finest Boyz (KFB), a founder‑led organization founded in Kakuma, Turkana County, Kenya, created to transform creativity and talent into structured opportunities. KTD 2026 empowers talent across Kakuma and Kalobeyei.

What is KFB (Kinship Finest Boyz)?

Kinship Finest Boyz (KFB) is a hybrid organization operating across creative, business, and community development sectors. KFB exists to create structured platforms where people can grow through participation and collaboration—while maintaining professionalism, accountability, and long‑term vision.

KFB was founded in Kakuma, Turkana County, Kenya. The Founder is Gor Philip Mamun (Rittoboy Don).KFB’s slogan is: “Driven by Passion, Led by Legacy.”

KFB’s long‑term vision is to build a global ecosystem that transforms talent into opportunity and opportunity into legacy.

What is KTD (Kinship Talent Discovery)?

KTD is KFB’s talent discovery and opportunity pathway (under KFB’s Opportunity & Talent Development division). It is designed to identify talent, build confidence, and create a structured stage where artists and dancers can perform, compete, and grow.

KTD is built around access and structure: participation opens doors, but success depends on preparation, consistency, and performance.

KTD 2026 Official Dates (Two‑Phase Programme)

KTD 2026 runs in two major phases:

Kakuma Kalobeyei Talent Showcase — KTD 2026


Phase One — Competition / Launch Event

Date: June 27, 2026

Venue: Youth Centre, Kakuma 2

Time: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM African Kenya time


Purpose: Opening performances, registration confirmation, and first‑phase showcases.


Phase Two — Finals & Awards (Big Night)

Date: July 18, 2026

Venue: Kakuma Town — Big Night Stage

Time: Evening/Night (Exact time will be announced)


Purpose: Final performances, special invited acts, winner crowning, and official closing of KTD 2026.


Registration Categories (Paid Registration)

Registration helps support logistics, security, and event production.

  • Artists Registration: 500 KES

  • Dance Groups Registration: 2,000 KES.


Ticketing & Entrance Fees

KTD is a ticketed event. Ticket sales support programme delivery and event sustainability.

  • Early Bird: 200 KES

  • Regular (Gate): 250 KES

  • Group Ticket (4 People): 800 KES

  • VIP: 500 KES (includes water)

  • VVIP: 1,000 KES (includes water + soda, front‑row seating)


Awards & Prizes (Artists & Dancers)

Dancers

  • 1st Place: 15,000 KES

  • 2nd Place: 10,000 KES

  • 3rd Place: 5,000 KES

Artists

  • 1st Place: 10,000 KES

  • 2nd Place: 7,000 KES

  • 3rd Place: 5,000 KES
